I am new to the embroidery world & Clever Poppy has been the BEST at teaching me! This pattern was my second Clever Poppy beginner's kit and I truly enjoyed it. The tutorials are easy to follow and her stitching along with me makes such a difference. This is such a relaxing hobby and I am loving it thanks to Clever Poppy! 10/10 recommend!

i was surprised at how well this turned out by my own hand but it was definitely because the extremely easy to follow videos. julie is so sweet and was easy to follow and listen to. i struggled with getting my hoop tight enough but i read another review that suggests i might have been using the wrong hole in the hoop. i finished this in just a few days and only had to undo a couple french knots i started ;)

This was my first embroidery project! The step-by-step videos were so helpful and allowed me to pick it up quickly. The materials were high quality and the kit includes everything you need. I can't wait to do another one.

This kit exceeded my expectations! I absolutely loved the instructional videos - they are broken down into short tutorials for each step which made it so easy to find the bits I needed. The quality of all the materials was outstanding and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process. Can't wait to do the next one!

This is my first embroidery kit although I’ve done it a couple times, I tend to forget how to embroider. Plus, I really wanted to do a new D.I.Y craft for my grandma For Christmas. The step by step videos are so easy to follow and it’s a great activity for when you are bored. I love this soooo much and I definitely recommend for all ages! Thank you clever poppy! (I’m still working on it lol)

I really enjoyed the Floral Stitch Sampler Beginning kit & it was a great introductions to stitches with terrific tutorials—even if it was tedious to have what could have been 7 videos chopped up into 7x that—but the offerings are a bit Pollyanna midwestern housewife for my tastes. Would be great if they offered a wider array of kits to appeal to a broader audience.

I am not particularly artisticly skilled and was shocked at how good this came out. It was my first ever attempt at any kind of embroidery. I wish the videos had an option to fast forward or rewind within the video, but other than that everything was great and detailed!

Great from start to finish! Easy to follow along with the videos. They were very thorough but easy to skip around to what I needed more instruction on. Wonderful quality product!

My fourteen-year-old daughter expressed an interest in trying embroidery after seeing me complete a couple of pieces. She chose this kit and finished it in two days. Having never embroidered anything before, she did an amazing job and loved the experience. Time to go shopping for a new design for her to try!

I love this kit. Everything you need is in a nice small box and I carry with me wherever I go! I’m about halfway through but it’s nice to be able to take my time accessing the instruction videos where ever and when ever I want. So convenient and fun!!!

I have been looking for a creative outlet and an alternative to “scrolling” in the evenings. I really enjoyed the kits I have purchased so far, and the companion videos make learning really straightforward. My friends are all impressed, but really it comes down to the tutorial videos! Just be sure to take your template stenciling seriously or you’ll regret it when it comes to stitching!

This was the first embroidery project I ever did and it was so straight forward. Plus, there's so much thread I could do it again if I get another piece of fabric and hoop. I also want to do it in different colors - it's a really great pattern!

First attempt at embroidery on clothing. Great way to add a little something to a plain baby bodysuit.

My sweet daughter bought me “the sampler” to see if I could revive my embroidery skills since childhood!!!
She helped me , along with the great videos, to re-learn all the stitches!! It turned out nicely and I enjoyed re-visiting that part of my life!! I’m actually better at the French knots now!! At age 79!!!

I absolutely loved creating my first work of art with Clever Poppy. I last picked up a needle and thread for a failed cross stitching attempt when I was a child many years ago. But I have a new hobby now!

The pattern and steps were so easy to follow. Even as a beginner, I found myself moving forward and getting a bit ahead of the videos because of how clearly and well-explained the process was. I also found myself feeling like I had a new friend in Julie by following along in the step-by-step videos. I'll miss my video time "with her" until I get a new package from Clever Poppy. I now know that I can do this! Thank you so much. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

10/10. The tutorials were so easy. Julie’s voice is calming, relaxing, and the instructions are easy to follow. I loved the variety of stitches, and as a first timer, I was so proud of my finished product.

Fun intro to embroidery. Kit has everything you need. Instructional videos are easy to follow, and skip if you don’t need to see a particular part. Would recommend if you want to embroidery.
