Such a lovely and fun kit to learn embroidery! The kit itself is beautifully put together. The instruction videos are key and so well done. Julie is a great teacher. I finished my Spring Ride and am so proud of my masterpiece! I’ve started my second kit and ordered more for gifts!

This was my second project from Clever Poppy and it did not disappoint. I felt like I had a private tutor from start to finish. I appreciate the ability to rewatch videos if needed. It makes learning embroidery easy and enjoyable.

The colors, the patterns, the style- this whole adorable spring bunny was so fun to make & I love how the colors and different stitch patterns make it really pop and are placed perfectly!! 10/10!

I just loved doing this kit and really appreciated the step-by-step directions. I was really nervous about transferring my pattern, but Julie's directions were fantastic! I can't wait to do another Clever Poppy Kit! I just need to decide which one!

Extremely good videos and stitch guide!

I tried embroidery years ago, but it was an absolute bust. I think the kit I chose was too advanced, and the directions weren't very clear. I had seen Clever Poppy ads before, but I assumed I was not an embroiderer after that first kit. I eventually decided to give Clever Poppy a shot, and I had so much fun! It helped me feel confident about my work, and I now have my cozy cat proudly displayed on my wall at home.

It took some difficulty to access the instructions online. Not sure why but I was given very prompt help when the password did not work. I bought this for my granddaughter Bea to learn. I have to say she absolutely loved it and we ended up with her first beautiful piece completed at age 11. She wants to go on and try another, so we will. Someone said in a review the cottons were cheap. They are not the most expensive silks but then this is a beginners kit and a lot more affordable than most with prettier designs than most. At beginner level it’s not same old, same old cross stitch which we tried before and she gave up. The colours are lovely. She loved the lazy daisy stitches and especially the roses. The tutorials are excellent. I was so pleased that it was an experience we could share. Finally, the joy of this pattern was that after drawing all the large flowers on I left out the small daffodils. We talked about them and she felt confident enough to put them in the spaces she had left. They basically went in where they were meant to but she was able to use the skills taught, art fun in flowers, to stitch in most of them in the 2 yellows freehand. I can’t for the life of me ever produce a good French knot so we substituted the Colonial knot and it worked wonderfully. Thank you. Carolyn & Bèa.

This is my first embroidery project, and it was so fun and easy! The directions and videos are super helpful, and it turned out better than I could've hoped!

I ordered and with in 24 hours had a tracking number. And then nothing. I checked daily. And then right when I was getting ready to inquire, I got an email from clever poppy telling me they were aware of the lack of updates. I was very impressed. And 3 days later, it was in my mailbox. I am so happy with everything about this kit. Julie is lovely and explains everything so clearly. I had taken a class and bought a different kit and I was lost. I enjoyed the entire process. And I love the finished product. Five stars are too few. I can't recommend them enough.

When I first ordered this beginner kit there was a major shipping delay but when I reached out to customer service they were so helpful and sent a new one right away. The tutorials and videos were incredibly helpful and I was so happy with the whole experience! Can't wait to do another project with Clever Poppy!

The sunny bunny was a delight to stitch. I enjoyed the variety of stitches and beautiful flowers. Relaxing and fun to have something lovely to hang on the wall!

I have found the Clever Poppy kits I have used (this one and the sampler) to be wonderful introductions to the craft. The video tutorials are detailed and helpful. The instructor gets ahead of potential problems and suggests small good practices that make a difference. And the pattern is very cute and a good introduction.

Julie's tutorials are easy to follow and perfectly timed and detailed. Each section is divided into multiple short step by step YouTube clips that enable you to easily pick up where you left off. Julie is a wonderful teacher and shows you how to fix mistakes, hide mistakes, and to overall just have fun with the process. She doesn't overcomplicate things. I just ordered a 2nd pattern that's a bit more advanced. I highly recommend this site, especially if you're new to embroidery.

I was a bit worried, as this is in the pricier end of beginner kits. But Julia's videos are long and comprehensive. I like that she leaves her mistakes and explained easy ways of getting out of them. She gives hints and tips for a smooth look and lots of options for alternatives. Just having access to the videos and step by step instructions was worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed this kit, learnt a lot and feel it was good value for money! Would 10/10 recommend
