First time embroidering and my first Clever Poppy project. Absolutely loved this! The instructional videos broke each step down and made it easy to understand and made it really manageable. Definitely lived the mantra of “progress not perfection” (the back can attest to that 😂) Have 2 more projects ready to go - can’t wait!

I've tried cross stitch before and it didn't really "click", more frustrating than anything. I know embroidery is different, but I was worried it'd be the same result. I took a chance on Clever Poppy on a whim as I wanted a relaxing hobby, and I'm so happy I did! I haven't really followed along with video instructions before, but found this made it easy for me. The instructors have a calm presence and take the time to explain everything. I love how much fun this is and look forward to many more projects!

As someone who just wanted to try her hand at a new type of craft with no sewing experience, this was perfect! The kit came with everything I needed (hoop, thread, scissors, canvas) and most helpfully, each type of stitch came with a very well laid out video tutorial. Completely worth it!

Started this first! For a begginer, not too shabby!

I grew up cross stitching and wanted to try something different. The entire process was so easy to follow. The videos were perfectly descriptive and simple. Embroidery is fun and forgiving and you have a sense of accomplishment and awe at what you’ve created. I can’t wait to get my next project.
