This was my first introduction to embroidery, and it was so much fun! I really appreciate the Clever Poppy kits, and teaching method. Everything you need is in the kit, along with access to videos to teach you every step of the way. I thoroughly enjoyed this project and when I was about two days into the project I realized that I was going to love embroidery, and promptly purchased several more projects so that I would never be without a project! This cute dishtowel is too pretty to use! So it hangs as decoration in my kitchen. 😁

This kit is a great beginner project! It includes some tricky stitches that are good to practice, but in a design that is forgiving enough, you’ll love your end result. I feel so proud of my project.

So pretty and great way to practice multiple different stitches. I love the variety in stitches and colors. The kit comes with everything you need. It took a while to trace the drawing but I like that I could amend it if I wanted to and get a heat erasable pen for future projects!

I loved stitching this pattern, it took awhile but it came out beautifully. I changed a few colors to match the favorite colors of the gift recipient. Thank you so much for the detailed instructions and fantastic stitch videos for the ones I didn’t know.

Enjoyed this project especially making the outline of the vase.

This was my first stitching project in at least a decade and the videos and included materials made it easy to learn the stitches.

This kit was SO cute and fun to do! I literally could not put it down. This is only my second embroidery attempt and I feel like it came out really well. I really appreciated all the tips from Julie in the instructional videos. Now every time I embroider I can hear her voice saying that mistakes and imperfections are okay and that everyone’s looks just a bit different and that’s totally fine. Great kit and great company, well worth the purchase!

This pattern is absolutely adorable and is bringing me such joy as I work through it! After mastering a handful of Clever Poppy's beginner kits, I "graduated" myself to this experienced kit and it has been exactly the right next-level project for me. I am loving the very detailed stitch guide that allows me to work through the pattern without videos, but with access to all the videos for each stitch too if desired for a refresher or if there is one new stitch to learn. Highly recommend this one if you are looking for something that will take you beyond the beginner phase!

Love this product! Keeps my hands busy and feel guilt free while listening to an audiobook and such a better alternative than doom scrolling on my phone. I have frames ready for the finished products and will start to use these new skills for pillow cases!

This was my first attempt at an experienced kit from Clever Poppy and my 4th project ever. I first did 3 beginner kits from CP. I loved doing this one and I'm feeling so confident with my stitching skills now! The set up of the demo videos was a little bit different than the beginner kits that I had done and more focused on the stitching guide. It turns out that was all I needed at this point though. And I was still able to learn 2 new-to-me stitches and use them in the project (stem & button hole).

Looking forward to starting my next experienced kit!

This is the fourth beginner kit I’ve done since Christmas and I’m addicted! This one and two others were gifted to friends and I’ve just joined the Maker's Club!

I enjoyed everything about clever poppy’s kit, friendly online video learning, and doing something I could finish in a week.

My favorite phrase is “progress over perfection”. This reminds me to enjoy and replay parts of the video whenever I need more help.
