Clever Poppy is without a doubt the best provider of quality embroidery patterns. I have tried several others, and none compare with Clever Poppy for the thoughtful, concise instructions and the encouragement and humor Julie puts into every video and written instructions.
Very easy site to navigate and I get a good sense of what’s in each kit and which would be a good fit for me now.

The video tutorials were very clear easy to follow. It felt like slow going at the start and now things are progressing so much faster. I love doing this much better than scrolling my Instagram feed.
There's no instructions other than video and I dont personally enjoy watching the videos.
The stitch guide doesn't show how to actually do the stitching, just shows the design.
Had I known I wouldn't have spent 40 dollars on this kit

Since our Stitch Sampler Beginner Kit is designed for complete beginners, we've focused on step-by-step video tutorials so you can see exactly how each stitch is worked. The Stitch Guide serves as a pattern reference, and we've intentionally left the colours and number of strands open so you can experiment as you practise. We also have printable PDF guides for individual stitch techniques if you prefer written instructions. For the price, I would have at least expected to receive a box that didn’t have a cut in it.

I love maybe Happy Beginner kit. I was so happy that it came with a great pair of scissors and needles! Plus the videos you can watch - all fantastic! Love it all!
Clever Poppy is one of my favorite shops! I love how easy the kits are to use and I learn so much through the videos. Julie and team are wonderful and the customer service is amazing. I hope to see some more experienced patterns come to the shop.
